"I don't know if it was a one-off or a security issue, but calling the elevator to go down wasn't working for several people and me. We had to use the up button to go up, then the down button to go down after we got in the elevator. Some of the guests said that they took the stairs."

"Front desk staff was very kind & helpful. They were able to hold our bags after we checked out which was great so we could spend the day at Universal. It was hard to turn the shower on, even with instructions. Free welcome drinks only available from 5p-7p was a bummer so we missed those. Fine hotel, walkable to universal if you are fit, uber is only about $10."
