This hotel is brilliant - friendly, helpful staff, really comfy room, super breakfast included and really good price. Brilliantly located for the U-bahn to get you everywhere you want or need to go and within walking distance of the centre of town, river Neckar etc.

A vintage expérience

We had an amazing time in Spahr hotel, our room was really spacious and beautifully decorated in true vintage style. The hotel is located in front of the U bahn and close to many restaurants. The breakfast buffet is varied, moreover, breakfast is included. Definitely an excellent price/quality ratio! I would come again.

Very old style feel with the giant room keys. We enjoyed. They let us put our bags in storage before check in so we could hit the Straße. Great staff. Breakfast was cool. Tea and coffee is made for you.

Beautiful craftsmanship seen throughout it, bartender was a humorous fellow, and all the staff was great. Breakfast was delicious as well with good showers and the bed was comfy. Our room had a sunroom, not just a deck, so it made it possible to enjoy tea in the brisk morning. One note, the carpet is older, but beauty of the woodwork, marble, and other aspects more then make up for it.

Good value for money hotel

Good value for money hotel. Tram to the city centre and central station right in front of the hotel. Although the rooms are large, they need renovation. I would remove all the carpets, and those sofas and armchairs that are old and just attract dust. Very uncomfortable beds, I really suggest to buy new ones. The hotel is clean, but the furnishings need a refresh, they are dated. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with enough choice between sweet and savory.

All good. Stayed with my daughter after watching Denmark play EURO2024. Beds were a bit hard and breakfast was so-so (quite dry bread, but both scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, ham and juice - no bacon, though..), but overall clean and as expected.

Reception staff was polite on arrival, slight language barrier. Room was clean but very dark as walls and ceiling was clad in dark wood. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. No tea and coffee facilities. Beds were comfy but could have done with more pillows. Bar was nice, drinks were reasonable. Evening staff member was unable to charge drinks to the room and would not accept card payment. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and the two ladies front of house were excellent and very polite. Car park was secure. Transport was very good as the tram stops outside, if you want to visit the centre it’s a bit out of the way.

Erlebnishotel. Alt abgewohnt, kaputter Sassel, staubig, nicht richtig gesaugt. Auf meine Beschwerde meinte ein junger Mann mit Pferdeschwanz an der Rezeption nur achselzuckend, das könne nicht sein, da täglich gereinigt wird. Meine Aufforderung sich mein Zimmer anzusehen ignorierte er. Immerhin Bettzeug war sauber. Beleuchtung im Bad eine trübe Neonröhre, Möbel uralt und kaputt, Umgebung übel. Nicht ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Als Frau überlegt man sich, ob man in dieser Gegend alleine spazieren geht. Eine ganz junge Prostituierte stark unter Drogen und ein schmieriger deutlich älterer Hotegast knutschten angedröhnt vorm Hotel. -Das Frühstück und der Chef des Hotels relativierten den Eindruck. -Trotzdem nie wieder!
