When we booked this hotel, I was a bit concerned being this close to the train tracks...nothing to worry about. The trains are electric and you don't even notice them. This was a funky, upbeat, younger vibe in the hotel. Rooms were great. They offered us each a free drink after checking in. Would recommend the Breitzel and Bier across the street for a good, authentic experience. Breakfast was also supplied and was very good!

Convenient location

Very conveniently located on direct subway line from airport (40 minutes) and city centre (15 minutes). Staff very friendly and helpful- recognised us although we had only stayed there once before - a year ago!

The hotel is not in the Center, but it's an Excellent location because of the closeness to the U and S line trains. You cannot leave the windows open at night, because emergency vehicles pass by all night long.

Not recommended

A hotel that pretends to be “fashion”. Room with the view on the parking and so close to the railway station that it was really noisy. Breakfast not organized with long queues.

Room: Very small, especially the bathroom, after you enter it, you cannot move without hurting yourself. Cheapest made in China toiletries that dry your skin immediately to a point it flakes and bleed after first use. Cleaning service didn't bother to change the glass nor empty the bin after the last guest, there are crumbs underneath the chair. Overall looks like they try to be hip but what they meant is actually cheap for the care-free youngster, so you end up with a drop-down board as desk, no mini-bar nor kettle in winter, no shelf nor drawer, cheap beds that hurts your back and motion sensor light underneath it to keep you up at night if the train noise outside does not wake you. Carpet floor is perfect for dustmites allergies. Parking: If you are very lucky, you will find a space in that small lot that holds less than 30 cars, it's like music chair without the music but only frustration, no other parking lot nearby.

The front desk staff is excellent, very helpful. Even when they are clearly swamped they remain friendly, professional & accommodating. However a couple of other things kind of let them down. If you want to park it's 15 euros per night. But it turns out the parking lot is accessible to anyone. Which means even if you pay, there isn't always parking. This could easily be solved by installing some sort of gate and not selling more parking spots than they have. Another thing is housekeeping. The room wasn't very clean to begin with. During our 6 day/5 night stay, housekeeping only came into our room twice. Both times they simply flipped the bed cover from open to closed and left one set of clean towels (there were 2 of us). So by day 4 we had to go down to the front desk to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The room was never vacuumed, the bathroom was never cleaned, the bed was never made, bedding was never changed. It was just kind of odd (and unpleasant). There isn't much to do around the hotel, but the U bahn & S bahn are very conveniently located across from the hotel.
