"This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels.
Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card.
