"We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that...

"Le Lappe is the perfect escape in the stunning Chianti. Suites are equipped with fireplace and hot tub, furbished in cozy and warming country style. I loved every moment I spent in this place, especially the breakfast in the amazing winter garden, a real jewel. Dinner was also outstanding, my compliments to all the chefs for the menu and to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Keep it up!"

The host is very helpful and gave us restaurant recommendations which included one of the best places we are on our trip. "We were so surprised by how much space the is at the villa, it was fantastic the pictures do not do it justice., it is very old and rustic building put to its best by the owners, games room gym, lovely pool, great supermarkets near by (puts ours to shame) you can walk into the nearest town for a drink and a market on a Wednesday morning (good hike back though) If you decide to get train to Arezzo make sue it stops at the local train station (just a square of ground) as the train went by my kids...

"Property is stunning. Small medieval village with an awesome pool in the hills of Tuscany. As for the rooms, you are camping in a medieval village. Expedia claims A/C, but we did not have. the rooms that have A/C are only portable units. A little tough when it is a hot August in Tuscany. The beds are horrible. Again you are camping in a medieval village. Location is very remote from other Tuscany towns. That being said, it is a beautiful place to camp in a medieval village. "

"Gianfranco is a superb host, he was waiting for us on arrival and gave us a guided tour of the property to make sure we were familiar with everything. A very kind man who provided a welcome basket of his own Olive oil and local wine. The property is excellent, the location and views superb and everything a group wanting to relax in Tuscany could ask for. If you want to walk in the area, the village of Quota with an excellently stocked local shop is 1.5 miles away and there are track through...
