Beautiful, historic area with colonial history. The town is poor and you will see poverty and disrepair, but you’ll also meet very nice locals. The immense lake in town is rather dirty, but there’s an interesting basalt rock waterfall nearby, too. Nice tourist shopping in the square as well. The hotel is beautifully curated, the amenities and toiletries are very nice, and the a/c is cold enough for this very warm tropical area. This is one of the best hotel properties in the Suchitoto area. I visited several while we were there and can attest to that.

It’s such a beautiful property, the rooms were lovely and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend for anyone heading to Suchitoto. So many small details added to the experience and the food was excellent. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Amazing stay. I couldn't recommend it more. Check-in process was great and informative, the staff were super nice. The room was spotless, great beds, great towels, drinking water, and had coffee on hand for the coffee maker. Restaurant had incredible views, good food, and great staff.

Nice little hotel with beautiful gardens and a lake view. The staff was very friendly, and even though this hotel was a bit far from the main plaza, it was still walkable. The town felt very safe and clean. Rooms don’t have outdoor windows, which can make them feel a bit stuffy on warmer days. The bar also closes early at 9pm. Overall, it was a very nice stay. I loved the antique furniture throughout the room and property. It gave it a lot of charm.

Liked the garden setting with restaurant, swings and beautiful view of Lake Suchitlan. Although small, the room was functional and clean. The standout was the staff - they were very helpful answering questions, calling tuk-tuks and assisting with luggage, etc. Would stay here again.
