What an amazing idea to stay at a local college. The room was spacious, clean and just overall a great way to stay near family with your own space. Very affordable as well.

PLEASE put up signs to indicate where the residence hotel is, there is a general lack of signage at this campus. Had to call desk for help. Or issue a map of the property with the reservation communications indicating location.

Bedroom lock was not working properly I got trapped inside But caretaker came asap when I informed her and opened it for me. I had to sland a chair on the door all the time to keep the door not to get closed.

Facilities were clean in the most part. Fridge had crumbs in the bottom, and drain in bathtub had a clog, so took 10-15 mins to drain. Fan in bathroom is noisy, and on a sensor, so you couldn’t turn it off… it would turn on in the middle of the night even if you didn’t turn on the light. Glass block ‘window’ in kitchen let light in from the hall all night… so bedroom door must be kept closed, or else you had a light shining on your face all night. Window blinds are not darkening, so be prepared to wake up with the sun. Minimal parking close by, so other option was to park down a steep hill (in the dark and pouring rain). Otherwise room was clean, linens freshly laundered, and bed quite comfortable. Nice lounge area on main floor with tv, pool table and video games. All in all, it was a clean place to sleep flr the price. It was worth the value, and a great option if you’re on a budget.

In general I liked the place. Still, there is room for improvement. First, the air conditioner was too loud and no way to turn it off. We did not need it, since it was not hot and we opened windows, but it stubbornly refuse to shut off and made it hard to fall asleep. I noticed a spider in my room - no big deal, but I'd rather have a room without insects. Parking was a bit weird: the parking lot in front of the main entrance was too small, and the staff suggested I park in the disabled parking stop, and when I felt hesitant suggested to use a bigger parking lot far away from the entrance. They need to be more reassuring about parking as most people like me were trained to avoid disabled parking. Finally, when I came to check out there was no one at the front desk, only a message that the staff will be there between 15 to 30 minutes. I needed to catch a ferry and had no time to waste and there was no way to call them, so I got worried, but luckily someone came shortly. I feel there either has to be a bell to call someone OR have a key drop box. Other than that my stay there was enjoyable!
