"My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights. It's located outside of busy Tokyo areas in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean. The host was very communicative and gave very clear instructions on how to get to the apartment. "

"Close to the metro and easy to travel around the city, smaller than in the pictures, and doesn't have an elevator. Overall, great for convenience and kitchen/laundry amenities. "

"We would stay here again. Enter Kita Akabane station as your starting point in google maps for train directions or it will sometimes send you to a station a much further walk away. Avoid the trains from 0700-1030 unless you love crowds…next level crowds. Grocery store, McDonalds and other restaurants by the station. AC worked good. Plenty hot water. You hang your clothes to dry in the shower. There’s a panel on the wall by the washer to control that. The check-in directions show the front of the...

"Place was convenient to travel to hotspots and outer Tokyo. I’d recommend this place for short term stays as it’s quite small and not too much room for multiple luggage’s. it be great if the room owners added extra pillows and towels as the pillows are extremely flat and uncomfortable and the towels are very thin. I’d also suggest removing the big round table in the bedroom to make extra space and replace with something more convenient for guests. Other than that room was great. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Room is clean; all necessary amenities (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush with toothpaste, etc) are provided and if you should need other amenities like hairbrush, shaver, face mask, body lotion, moisturiser, serum, extra pillows, pyjamas, etc., you can get them from the reception area. Free buffet style simple breakfast is good n besides hot coffee n tea, there are also quite a few types of cold drinks available. After breakfast hours, the free flow beverages and drinks are available from 3pm till 9pm. Better still, there is a cocktail hour from 6pm to 9pm daily where you can chill out at the dining area with free flow alcoholic drinks (gin, whisky, vodka, red wine, plum wine, jap sake etc), cocktails and mocktails that you can make for yourself with the ingredients and menu provided. You can also enjoy a relaxing onsen located on 3rd floor of the hotel. In conclusion, this hotel takes really good care of its guests. There are also many eateries, shops, family marts, and malls nearby the hotel and its just a 2 minute walk to Akabane station. The hotel's location is great. Travelling to shinjuku, shibuya, tokyo station, Ginza, and other parts of tokyo city has been a breeze on JR and metro lines. I would definitely like to stay at this same hotel the next time I travel to Tokyo, Japan."
"Pleasant and helpful staff. Daily morning Yakult and nightly ramen are wonderful perks. Welcome water bottle and snacks in the refrigerator included in our room rate. Laundry is available inside the hotel - Free wash, coin dry. The hotel can store your luggage prior to checking in, and they can help you coordinate luggage forwarding service through Yamato Transport (for a fee, cash only). Convenient location if Sunshine City is your main destination, although the walk to Ikebukuro Station is a bit far (about 15 minutes). Our party did not use their hot springs but you should definitely check it out."
"The location is excellent, just a quick four minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and there’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs which makes everything super convenient.
The room was clean and had all the essentials, but the building itself feels a little rundown, especially the elevator and hallways.
The lighting throughout the hotel is also quite dark, which gives it a slightly older feel.
The bed was firm, which is pretty common in Japan, but from a North American perspective it might feel hard or uncomfortable if you have a sensitive back like me. I recommend asking for an extra duvet to make it softer and more cushioned.
The staff were kind and helpful, and overall it was a decent stay in a great location for exploring Ikebukuro and beyond."
"I had such a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and I was surprised by how spacious everything felt. I loved the little complimentary touches like body cream, hair oil, and hair ties… so thoughtful!
There are laundry machines on site, which made things really convenient, and I really appreciated that they can arrange luggage delivery straight to the airport (not all hotels do that).
It’s about a 10 minute walk to Ikebukuro Station, but there’s so much to see and do along the way. Restaurants, cafés, and tons of shops are just steps from the hotel. The area felt incredibly safe, and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and spoke great English.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tokyo and wanting a comfortable, convenient stay in a great neighborhood."
"I stayed here for about 1 week on a solo trip through Tokyo. The room was small but I really enjoyed the cleanliness and quality, and all of the staff i interacted with were very kind and professional! I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I return to Japan!"
