"The hot tub on the back porch was a wonderful place to watch the sunset during our quick weekend trip. The view of woods and the distant hills was relaxing. The cabin was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was one of the better equipped we’ve encountered in a short-term rental. We really appreciated the Nest thermostat we could set to our preference. We spent an afternoon hiking in the nearby Chickasaw National Recreation Area and came back in time to watch another sunset. We only used the master suite, but that bed was very comfortable. There are other properties in the area, but none were close enough to disturb the peace and quiet. Amy gave great directions and simple instructions for using the amenities. We had no issues, but she checked in any way to make sure things were going well. Great weekend getaway!"

"This property has pluses and minuses.Google maps takes you to the wrong house, but the host was kind enough to stay on the phone with me and guide me to the property.It is clean and a great value. It’s semi secluded, quiet and there is an incredible view. There’s no wifi, but I found that refreshing. In my mind, the reason to go there is enjoy nature.It’s off the beaten path, but still close enough to antique and boutique shopping, cultural centers and businesses, great local restaurants and beautiful places to hike. The cabin is clean, but definitely lacks proper housekeeping (empty cigarette boxes and butts in the chiminea and pottery on the front porch, wet laundry in the washer, it lacks proper kitchen utensils, several of the light bulbs were out and it takes the coffeemaker 40 minutes to make a pot of coffee).Besides a Queen and King bed, the website says it has two futons. Instead of futons, there was a comfortable chase lounge and two couches, one of which is a fold out.All in all it was a great trip and we had a a wonderful time."
