"Villa Mediterranea is well positioned in Bol - midway between town and main beach. Rooms and beds are comfortable with efficient air-condioning. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pool area is pleasant but small but the local beach is fine and a few mins away. Sunbeds 20 euros per day each. Bol itself is a lovely unspoilt town."

"We had travelled around for 6 weeks and this had to be the worse bed I've ever tried to sleep in. You could feel every spring in the mattress and when moving the bed would creak. Everything stunk like smoke and you had to pay extra for the air conditioning!! We choose this hotel as it had private parking, however when we got there we were advised we would have to park on the street 200m away next to a building site which wasn't peace of mind when you have a rental vehicle. "The house was very nice. There in the house weren't any other quests in our holiday, so we enjoyed all alone. The pool was excellent. We had rent a car, so we drove all over in the Dalmatian area. There is so many places to see and experience. "

"Villa looks nice outside, but inside we were disappointed.The rooms had a small surface very limited was difficult to walk around, you have to be careful. Not comfortable beds and pillows and simple breakfast. The view from balcony was nice."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms have been recently refurbished so are fantastic, and the restaurant is well known on the island as a great place to eat. Only 12 rooms means it’s quiet by the pool and you can always get a lounger, and the breakfast is quality and HUGE - we didn’t need it every day. Thank you!"

"Villa Basca is a beautiful Villa. Very new, modern and comfortable. The owner was such a great host. He helped us with our luggages upon arrival, he brought me to the pharmacy when he found out I have skin allergy. He constantly make sure that we are comfortable staying at his property. The property is just steps away from the beach area. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Highly recommended, cannot ask for a better place to stay. "Sunny, the host, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Located just outside of a bus stop that easily took you into Split center city. Gorgeous views from our balcony. This is more of a boutique-style BnB, so bringing your own body wash and shampoo is recommended. If you forget, there’s a small Tommy’s (grocery store) less than a 10 min walk from the hotel. Would stay here again and again! "
