Island Therapy

Beautiful 2BD/2BA vacation home features open water views and a full size 35' seawall for docking a boat. Amenities include central air conditioning, new tile floor, new furnishing and decorations throughout, wireless internet, flat screen television, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and covered porch. Master bedroom has a queen bed with lots of closet storage, flat screen television and private full bathroom. Guest bedroom has a queen bed with full length closet storage, private full bathroom entrance. Living room features a queen sleeper sofa with flat screen television and access to covered porch. Beautiful open water views and quick access to the ocean or gulf from this property. 7 day minimum during lobster season. No Smoking, No Pets. There is a resort usage fee of $125 payable upon arrival at entrance at security gate to Venture Out.

Rental agreement is agreed upon once you book and pre-registration form of guests must be completed prior to stay or when checking in at the security gate.

The community will be limiting overflow parking lot spaces (which is at a nightly fee to guest). They will only be able to accommodate for one spot for an extra car or boat trailer if available; do know there's a driveway at the home to park a car, this is only in regards to extra cars or boat trailers.
If no spots are available guest will need to find a spot outside of the park. We understand this is a great inconvenience so we have negotiated a spot for a trailer at a nearby marina at a rate of $20 a day, if interested please let us know so we notify the marina. Thank you

Lovely house, very clean and fully equipped with kitchen utensils. Nice location close to the water and good setting point to explore the Keys. Strongly recommended.

A piece of paradise!

Property was well-maintained and everyone was respectful of the rules and quiet hours. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of towels, stocked kitchen, etc. Gorgeous canal view, lots to do nearby, nice morning walks to the boat launch/pool area. Would stay again!

Perfect Island Get Away

This resort is perfect for relaxing, boating, kayaking. The home is furnished with all the necessities. It was wonderful being able to step outside the door and onto my boat or kayak.the owner is very responsive to questions.

Relaxing vacation

The house is located in an ideal location. 23 mile drive to Key West or Marathon. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Bahia Honda Beach is about an eight mile drive grocery store about five.

Great location for boating

The house was in a great location for boating. We rented a boat and went out to Looe Key to snorkel and it was awesome. The house has everything you need and a great neighborhood. We made friends with the renters next door. Get your groceries and everything you need early, this key shuts down very early.

It was 2b/2b as described. The beds are on one end of unit and the kitchen and living on the other. Great to allow sleeping in. Has all the basics needed for cooking. No ice maker but Winn Dixie has large bags of ice we picked up when shopping. Great location.

Evertthing was just at stated in the vrbo ad. Everthing you could need was available inside the unit. Great communication with the owner. She got right back to me.Nice back deck overlooking the canal, beautiful community pool. They had daily events going on also in the gated community. Vert quiet and peaceful area. This was my fourth time renting this unit and i already have the next two years booked. Larry

Great location for boat owners

The good: 1) The place was clean. 2) The kitchen had all the essential tools and utensils. We cooked and grilled. 3) Seawall comfortably accommodated my brother-in-law's 30 ft. tritoon. 4) Fish cleaning table was very convenient but bring your own fillet/boning knife. Theirs is duller than an opera. 5) Large washer and dryer with detergent and softener were very convenient. 6) Covered patio was a great place to have our meals or just to hang out. 7) Plenty of linens and towels. The not so good: 1) Beds were too soft. 2) Ice maker didn't work and there were no ice cube trays. 3) Kitchen bar-top and patio table have four chairs each. Eating as a group is inconvenient if you have more than four people. The chair in the master bedroom could be used in the patio for a fifth person, otherwise you will have to split up the group. It would have been nice if a couple of folding chairs were available. 5) The parking spot is very short. Venture out tells you that the car cannot encroach on the street. This is impossible with a pickup truck or other large vehicle. Fortunately, no one complained. 4) Checkout instructions on the refrigerator door said to launder excessive linens and towels without defining excessive. It also said to put trash out by the curb and recycling by the curb next to the in-ground trash can but instructions on the table said trash is picked up on Wednesdays so we weren't sure if the trash should go on the street or in the in-ground trash can.

Island Time

Our family truly enjoyed this home! Fishing Family of 4 with plenty of space and everything we could possibly need. The convenience of docking our boat right out the back door was fabulous! And my personal favorite…being able to drink coffee every morning watching the view of the water and listening to the wind rustle the palms. Everything was clean and perfect. The kids loved the pool but loved swimming in the canal even more. We appreciate the opportunity to visit.

Cudjoe Key gem

Clean and very comfortable. Easy water access directly behind home. Restaurants nearby. Groceries 20 minutes. Key West 30 minutes. Near enough to everything, yet away from the bustle of Key West.

Great Stay

Great stay at this property. Fit all our needs. Stayed for 4 nights while visiting the area. Easy drive to Key West and a really nice State Park - Bahia Honda State Park is just a short drive from the property. Would stay again if visiting in the future.
