"Our family needed a place to stay during the state boys basketball and youth wrestling tournaments which were being held the same weekend in Rapid. This property worked perfectly! We had 6 adults and five kids from 18 months to 16 years. It was very easy access just off of the interstate about a 17 minute drive to the Moument center for the activities. "We had an impromptu Labor Day family trip. Scott was so accommodating and helped us with all our questions. The deck was amazing to make smores and there is a massive lawn played games on and even an outdoor batting cage which was a "hit". Basement is full of games and theatre seating with a very cool bar with memorabilia."

"Quiet, comfortable hotel. One thing I didn't realize about residential hotels is that most of the guests are there for an extended period of time so in general they will be quieter than guests at other hotels. In addition, there will be fewer children around. Excellent breakfast every morning in a clean breakfast room."

"Why not stay the night in a cute little cabin with a wide porch in the woods instead of a standard hotel? The staff is super nice and helpful, and our room is clean and comfortable. We had a picnic on the porch after our tour of Mount Rushmore which is only 4 miles away. Highly recommended!"
