"We had a beautiful weekend at Chalet Blue. Jill is a perfect host, providing great communication before and during the trip, and had everything thoughtfully arranged for our arrival. The chalet is charming, cozy, and rustic, while also being spacious, comfy, well-stocked, and convenient. The lush natural surroundings and river-view from the deck was picturesque. The getaway was everything we could have hoped for and would love to return in the future!"

Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked."

"Property met all our needs. Beach was great for our grandson. Beautiful lake perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Close to playground, groceries, restaurants and trails. The house was beautiful with all we needed to cook and enjoy our stay."

"Wonderful location. A large wooded private property with its own private lake. Only one other cabin apart from this one. Complete silence surrounded by the leafy canopy of tall trees...heaven! Its like like staying in your own private Provincial Park. That is the glam part. The camp part means that there is no electricity, no plumbing and no wi-fi. But then who needs those urban comforts? Isnt the idea to escape from them for while? I certainly learned to appreciate every drop of water we used and realized how much of it we city slickes waste every day !!!"

"Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. Unfortunately could not continue to stay here so we had to leave. Other than that, it has beautiful views on a very nice lake. If the septic tank/pipe issues are resolved than this cottage would be an amazing place to stay. "

"Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. "
