"Lots of rules and add on charges, the lift takes a long time if you are on a high floor. The pool is lovely but the location is a bit far away from everywhere so be prepared to get taxis etc "

"Really beautiful building that's been restored with plenty of character. The location is excellent. The staff and the manager, Aitee, made us- my wife and two young children- very welcome and was fantastic. Really recommend this hotel. "

"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "
