Unfortunately, Expedia advertised it as soundproof, but we were able to hear people talking outside the building on the opposite side of our room, along with a dog barking for almost an hour. Other than that, the place was good. The check-in process was a little confusing at first, but not too difficult."

Luckily we were there on a cool night so the lack of air conditioning was okay but a fan would be nice to keep the air moving. Breakfast was lack luster and the bed pillows could use updating. "This hotel was beautiful. Loved our spacious room and bathroom! We had a cute little patio outside our room too. The roof has amazing views. The staff was very responsive, very helpful and friendly. Love that everything in the shared kitchen is available the guests. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Property is huge and well equipped. Very clean and loads of space to spread out (we were a group of 12). The only thing missing is a fan in each room. The rooms were too hot to sleep in without fans which we went out and purchased ourselves. Ceiling fans would have been more preferable of course. Also, the cleaners turned up an hour earlier than we expected as it stated 11am check-out. But the general condition of the property is very good. Pool was very clean and maintained throughout our stay. Shops are about 7-10 minutes away by car with no local amenities in walking distance. Could do with more fridge space given the number of people it can accommodate. Kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could need which is a massive plus. "

The building itself is straight out of another era with thick walls of rock but still with all the amenities you would want. This was the best stay I’ve had in Portugal so far. "
