"It has an excellent location, on the high ground, very near the tower which gives the town its name. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with (in many cases) superb views out over the bay. Great food and service. As well as the restaurant there is a friendly cafe in the hotel. If you`re coming by car, expect a slightly circuitous route around the town`s quasi-one way system; and aim for the parking spaces marked with white lines (very near the hotel) ... and get a (free) parking permit as soon as you check in. Altogether a delightful and memorable place. . "

"Quick overnight stay due to ferry being cancelled, can't beat the location or the accommodation. Next to railway station and central for bars and restaurants. My only negative is even though breakfast was excellent the breakfast staff who knew I only spoke English tried to fob me off with machine coffee instead of a proper coffee when I asked for an Americano all the while happy to serve their Italian customers with proper coffee. "

"Lovely hotel with a big superior room Staff very friendly The hotel was clean It was lovely and quiet even though it’s across from the bus station The breakfast was limited but of good quality It had a lift but only a small lift, would not fit a standard wheelchair in sadly We could only get lukewarm water in the bathroom but it wasn’t that bad"
