"My welcome to the hotel was friendly & efficient. I was in my room within minutes after checking in & taking the elevator.
I had a very comfortable 10 night stay & I slept well, though I don’t think my room was one of the newly renovated ones.
Going by the photos my room, on the 2nd floor, was tight on space, especially at the end of the bed where the desk is.
I’d booked the room 6 months in advance & my view was adjacent buildings, which was a bit of a shame.
The room was very clean with fresh bedding & towels. The bathroom had a wonderful shower that was very much needed after a long day of travelling,
The AC in the room worked well & kept a nice cool temperature especially when the days were very hot.
This was my first time in New York & the hotel is a few minutes from the train station, Williamsburg Bridge, Essex Market & lots of places to eat.
I’d stay here again if I could get one of the renovated rooms that are shown on the website."
