"A great place as a base to visit Herefordshire. The food in the pub was all freshly cooked to order and there was a good selection of beers and wines. The staff were excellent particularly the bar manager (Cam), he was totally aware of customer needs throughout the pub. The Arkwright room was a good size, well equipped and clean however, the stairs to the raised bed area could be a problem for some people and the bathroom is downstairs. Overall, for us, it was exactly what we were looking for and the rates were very reasonable. The continental breakfast self served in the communal breakfast room was enough to set us up for the day. I would stay there again."

"A wonderful chilled out atmosphere and great location. Staff were excellent, helpful and nothing too much trouble. Room had very comfortable bed and very well equipped with lovely little touches like a bowl of sweets, umbrella, small fridge, iron, hairdryer, toiletries etc. and huge shower. Food menu was wonderful with gluten free and vegan options. Had a very tasty evening meal and amazing breakfast. The staff made you feel very welcome. Really loved my stay. Couldn’t fault it in any way. "

"Our room was absolutely gorgeous. It was extremely roomy overlooking the high street. The bathroom was also spacious and had a lovely shower. We came back late on the Saturday night and the staff helped us find somewhere to get food. They were so helpful. And breakfast....the food was delicious. We will 100% be back Location is right in the middle of Ludlow and everything was walkable "
