"I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Medical, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The first room I was assigned had a strong, overwhelming mildew smell that wasn’t just isolated to the room, it seemed to affect the entire floor. On top of that, the cleanliness was questionable at best. The bathroom still had visible soap scum and grime, and it didn’t appear that the room had been thoroughly cleaned or scrubbed before my arrival.
I requested a room change, which was granted, but the second room came with its own set of issues. The television had visible lines running through the screen that distorted the picture. When maintenance came to look at it, the only response I received was essentially, “at least it turns on,” along with the explanation that there were no replacement TVs available. That was frustrating, especially considering an unoccupied room (my original one) clearly had a functioning TV that could have been swapped.
Cleanliness was again a major concern in the second room. My pillowcase had someone else’s makeup on it, which forced me to change the bedding myself. There were also visible drink rings left behind on surfaces, and overall, the room felt poorly maintained and not properly reset for a new guest. I ended up wiping down and scrubbing things myself just to feel somewhat comfortable.
Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and far below what I expected. Refund?"
