Fantastic stay. This is the second time there and each time the rooms are very clean. The restaurant has great food and pub on site. Staff are very friendly. Parking is super easy and close to the rooms. It’s a lovely place and I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This property is absolutely unique, a 15th century building restored and updated in a charming way. The staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious! Thank you for the loveliest stay of our holiday.

I stayed for 5 days and it was the second time I have been a guest there. The drive through the beautiful tree lined driveway is beautiful, reminds me of Forest Gump movie. Checking in was problem free, the food excellent, drinks lovely and bar personnel so kind. You won't be disappointed. Everyone is lovely and so kind and respectful. Close to town and site seeing sites.

We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Also appreciated the towel warming rack, and the frosted bathroom windows. The room was very comfortable and quiet, as Grimston is a tiny village in a rural area. Great property with lovely staff. The weather wasn’t great so we spent an afternoon in the lounge catching up with friends who were also staying. Would definitely return to do all the outdoor activities we missed this time around.

Very quaint village hotel, dating from the 1600s. Updated nicely, but stairs are very steep. I loved my top floor room with dormer windows. Updated En-suite bath! Lovely original beam ceiling.

Nice well managed property / country club. Convenient if you have activities around Norwich. Not unexpected but driving to property is on Norfolk country roads (last 6 miles) can be challenging at night.

This B&B was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious, we stayed in the Nelson. Pillows and bed were very good. Cute little pub next door was a nice touch.

Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return.

Perfect for a couple a night or weekend- awesome food and pub - like living history!

We had a big party staying here for a family wedding nearby. I don’t usually do these reviews but the Elveden was just outstanding. The place is lovely with nice rooms and a great lounge, bar and restaurant, but it was the staff who made this special. Friendly, competent and endlessly helpful dealing with our group, including arranging two large dinners at short notice. Strongly recommended!
