This charming retreat provided a delightful escape and was very close to the Woodstock Museum, which was the purpose for our visit. The house was charming and the lake views were spectacular. What a lovely lake oasis! If you are looking to escape the busyness and just relax in peace with beautiful views, then this is the place for you. Everything about our stay was wonderful! The hosts were very responsive and pleasantly surprised us with flowers for our anniversary. What a special added touch. We would definitely recommend this location!!

The house was very impressive on the inside. From the outside you think it was this small place but it really had very nice amenities. Unfortunately, we had some rain on our vacation which prevented us from doing the things that we wanted to do but overall I would rate the house as a five and we enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a quiet private place to relax in for two nights and this was perfect! It was smaller than it seemed from the pictures, but it was clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint was that the lake was frozen so we didn't get to enjoy that part, but would love to come back when it's warmer!
