"Hinge on loo seat broken causing it to move around when sat on; Stains on bath towel; No power socket or lighting near mirror. Furniture/decor mismatched but pleasant enough and functional. Bed and bedding very clean and comfortable! Staff very friendly and helpful 🙂 Nice pub with paved beer garden prettily lit at night with plenty of seating. Food portions very generous and food is delicious! 😋"

Dizzy Heights Swanage Bay View Fun Beach Townhouse

Dizzy Heights Swanage Bay View Fun Beach Townhouse

10/10 Excellent
"Just spent a long weekend at Dizzy Heights with my husband, my Mum and Step-father and our daughters and their families. There were 10 of us in total, ranging from 15 months old to over 80. We were staying in Swanage for a family wedding. The information and communication we had prior to arriving was really helpful and everything was exactly as described, as well as being clean and ready for our arrival. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies that was appreciated as well as toiletries in each of the 4 bathrooms. The WiFi was really easy to log onto and worked throughout the house. The view from the top floor front bedroom was spectacular and the house is really well appointed with regards to getting into the town and the beach.I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone with a large family or extended family as it was perfect and plenty of space for 10 of us."

Grand Hotel Swanage

"The receptionist was lovely and we felt very welcomed and informed on arrival. We stayed in a superior room with sea view, the room was clean but could do with a few extras to make it feel more comfortable. For example a headboard for the bed, a higher table for the chairs so that you could eat at and a small fridge would have been useful. Overall, we had a lovely stay, brilliant sea views, location was lovely and a short walk along the sea to the town and we would return!"

"We have just returned from a wonderful weekend in Swanage at this truely lovely property. We were a group of 5 and Nestlton had everything we needed for a self catering weekend away. The living area was a great space for us to all spend time together, the bedrooms were so comfortable and the balcony with a beautiful view was an added bonus.Parking on the road wasn't an issue. This house was a great find, and one I reccommend highly to anyone wanting to stay in Swanage.Thank you to our wonderful host for sharing this beautiful space."

OUR LOVELY HOME WITH KITCHEN BALCONY WITH VIEWS OVER SWANAGE BAY/PURBECK HILLS

OUR LOVELY HOME WITH KITCHEN BALCONY WITH VIEWS OVER SWANAGE BAY/PURBECK HILLS

10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful house situated at the top of the town, with amazing views across Swanage. Centrally located for all local services, there are some lovely places to eat and explore. The house was lovely and clean and the spacious kitchen was a dream size, (one of the reasons we chose this particular house, as my own kitchen is tiny) sadly we were not expecting to find most of the kitchen cupboards locked and notices telling us which cupboards we were allowed to use, the same happened with the drawers and wardobes in the bedrooms, and the bathroom cabinet was 3 part full of someone elses toiletries and medication creams.I don't normally like to put negative comments in a review but for just over 2000 for 2 weeks, we expected to get the whole house as promised, this is what has happened on our previous cottage home bookings. We probably would not have booked if we had known this in advance.Overall though the house is a lovely tranquil place to stay, watching the fish swimming around was very relaxing sat on the wall, but it could have been better with a couple of garden chairs to sit out in the sun in the lower garden for when the sun is fierce on the balcony. We loved Swanage itself, its ike going back to the good old beach days, with deck chairs for hire, plenthy of fish & chip shops and other restaraunts to choose from and amusement arcades, crazy golf and with so much for children to do. We would revisit Swanage happily."
