"Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "

Allmänt slitet, t ex trasiga fönsterhakar och fönsterkarmar med flagande färg. Dåligt städat på golvlister och fönsterkarmar. Smutsiga fönsterbleck och farstubro. Madrasser och madrasskydd i stort behov av tvätt. Dålig ventilation. "

"Vi är supernöjda med vår vistelse på Marhomlen. Vi hyrde en stuga som var stor, mysig & fräsch. Fanns mycket aktiviteter att göra på ön och ön var även så fin & mysig att strosa omkring på. Vi fiskade, badade och hyrde roddbåt. Rekommenderar verkligen!"

"In der Beschreibung wurde geschrieben mit Kamin. Der fehlte im Haupthaus! (Schade das Haus war kühl). Aber die Sauna zählt da nicht es ist oft üblich in Schweden, dass eine Sauna mit Kaminholz befeuert wird. Es wurde in der Beschreibung so beschrieben als wäre der Kamin im Haus. Aber kurz gesagt, sehr schöner Platz um sich zu erholen mit viel Platz und Ruhe."

"The location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable. There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow. We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪 "

"We spent a very happy 8 nights here. As we hadn't rented a car we relied on the local train - which worked well and we nipped in to Stockholm easily a couple of times. The hosts were very welcoming and we have everything we needed. If I was to say anything less positive it would be that its such a shame the host cant make a small area available so you can sit outside (garden is private), also the cottage is a little overlooked by the main house. "We were an extended family group (8 people from 3 families) from USA and Canada visiting relatives in Sweden. This home provided a great base for us to take day trips in Småland and Skåne as well as enjoy the countryside. The house is spacious and we especially appreciated the upstairs sitting area so smaller groups could congregate. We hiked around the area and used the boat and bikes."

"Our stay in Sweden was wonderful! The cottage was small but perfectly comfortable for me and my sisters stay. Transportation too and from Stockholm was easy with the ferry and subway availability. We also enjoyed the immediate access to miles of hiking trails through the forest with the town and shopping within walking distance as well! Our host was extremely responsive and helpful! They were quick to respond with information for a time schedule to the ferry or to any questions we had. I would...

"We had an amazing stay! Everything was comfortable with a great location. We especially loved the living room with a wonderful fireplace and the fully equipped kitchen! Also Katarina was a fantastic host! It was a perfect place for a family reunion!"

"We had a great time in Grebbestad and on the Bohuslan coast. The two cosy chalets were very confortable and well equipped, both inside and outside. The weather unfortunately was not helpful, so we could not profit of the outside BBQ, but we were able to have a couple of meals on the terrace. Thanks to Pia and Jonas also for the bikes, which were very useful to get into town or to the beach. A great swedish experience!"

"Schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Sehr kleines Bad. Alles sauber und Ausstattung ok. Betten waren leider etwas unbequem. Ein Pool der Dorfgemeinschaft ist durch einen kleinen Waldweg in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Schön für die Kinder, da es auch einen Spielplatz gibt. Leider aber kaum Schatten. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus. Für Ausflüge und zum einkaufen muss man aber halt immer eine gewisse Fahrtzeit einplanen."
