"The smell of the food that people cook in their rooms was horrible. Cleaning personnel did not do the thorough job, dud not make beds, did not clean the floor or leave fresh towels. And the breakfast was not good. I understand that it is complimentary, but I would rather pay a fee and get a good variety, "

"This property is across from the transit center. It's loud and feels a bit unsafe on the street outside. The hallways are pretty beat up, rooms have been redone but I had a couple of large bugs in my room, hair in the shower and the smoke detector light brightly flashing all night long. Honestly, it was rough. I think the staff was doing their best. They were friendly and open to helping."

"Parking / valet was a nightmare. There was no bellman and I assumed the valet was going to take care of my running vehicle and luggage while I got my 2 dogs upstairs. Nope, my car was running and unlocked and unattended 20 yards away from any staff by the street and homeless addicts. The elevators were slow averaging a 3-5 minute wait and were as hot as a sauna. NEVER STAY HERE"

"This stay was almost perfect. We loved the room and the area. But be aware of the $20 per night parking. I paid for breakfast and it was mediocre-definitely not worth $20-oatmeal, sausage links, eggs, bacon, And the rest was continental style. But we enjoyed our time in Charlotte."
