"Perhaps outside of summertime our experience would have been different, but unfortunately it was difficult to enjoy this property without having air conditioning during the summer months. Our room was sweltering both nights, even with 2 fans constantly on and the window open. At night when the temperature cooled down, the common areas were comfortable yet our room still felt like a sauna, making it difficult to sleep. There is no lift or doorman to help with luggage through the gravel driveway...

"The first room we were given was joined to a faulty and extremely noisy water pump, which kept us awake every hour during the first night. We had a wedding to go to the next day and obviously wanted to look our best, not tired pale and wizzened. Thankfully, we were moved to another room far enough away, to not hear the pump.
