"The property itself was very nice and the staff were friendly, helpful and informative about the area and island. Check in was easy and we were collected and dropped off at he port upon arrival and departure. The street it is on is well lit but on route to the beach you have to walk through and unpleasant area consisting of chickens, broken down cars and boats with spare parts lying all around."

"Salakos Villas are quietly located 1500 m from Salakos village. Gravel roads and orchards leading up to the place. Our house was quite nice, the outdoor areas around it could need a little love and tenderness though. Wifi rather unstabile - but the area has good cell data coverage. The only real downside for us was that a group of local young girls had decided to rent a villa that weekend for having a noisy party in this secluded mountain retreat. "Very nice property/villa and an excellent value. Modern finishes. Very good air con during super hot Rhodian summer. Excellent communication with Vasilis. My only (minor) concerns: 1. We are active people, but the walk to the main street/shopping area is not as easy or safe as Google maps would make it appear. After our first day, we rented a car for the duration. 2. "Apartment is 3 rooms on 3 floors, separated by steep stairs (ladders, really). This apartment is not for those with mobility issues as the stairs are tough to navigate. Property is clean, wi-fi is good and there’s hot water. Kitchen is very bare bones. Note: all of Symi has steep stairs everywhere and it is not good for those who have mobility issues."

"This place is Heaven On Earth. The dining experience is amazing I recommend getting a suit because what you get in terms of service is on an other level. The staff are truly the best and really take care of you they managed to even bake a custom cake for my girlfriend’s birthday. Get a massage from Eva she goes in deep and removes knots that you don’t even know you had. This place will definitely become an annual escape from my partner and I and we look forward to brining our family and friends to enjoy the experience with us. Couldn’t recommend it enough. "
