Beautiful apartment in a villa with swimming pool in Syracuse

The villa is divided into 2 independent apartments. My husband and I live in one of them. The guest apartment is composed of 1 bedroom with double bed and air conditioning, 1 bedroom with 2 beds (one of them queen-size) and air-conditioning, a kitchen with oven, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine and all necessary cooking items and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.
At the outside our guests can enjoy a private patio (which offers absolute privacy and faces south)with a table and 4 chairs, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful garden.
There is also a table football and a badminton set.

Furthermore there is a large pool for the exclusive use of our guests;
The house is situated in a residential area and is mostly surrounded by countryside, therefor I recommend a car to get around

Just a 2-minute walk away there is a large well stocked supermarket which also sells ready-made food to take away.
My house is located in a strategic position, in a 15 minutes drive you can reach Ortigia (the old city center with the famous little beach Calarossa), in 5 minutes the greek theater and in 20 minutes the nearest beaches. Also the motorway access is easy and fast, making it ideal for visiting places like Noto, Taormina, Ragusa and Modica and to explore the south-east coast of Sicily.

Lovely Villa with pool
The villa was perfectly located to travel around sites and tourist spots. It was clean & bright & had everything your could possibly need for self catering. We did eat out a lot as well. The pool was a really good size and was very clean. Charlotte was a lovely host. Excellent communication before our stay and had hints and tips while we were there.

Fantastic property and host
Had a fantastic stay at Charlotte’s property. She was very helpful and recommended good restaurants during our stay. We are a family of four and it was really nice to have the pool for our own afternoon siesta. Good location and easy to get into Siracusa/Ortigia and beyond. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, perfect villa!
We had a great stay, it was the relaxing holiday we wanted. Charlotte was a perfect host, not only regarding the villa, which was excellent but with all the useful information for the immediate vicinity and further a field. The villa was in a good location for Syracuse and for hopping on the motorway to explore the region. We would definitely recommend a stay here, if you're looking for a relaxing break, exploring or a mixture of both as we were. Perfect!

A perfect base for visiting southern Sicily
We loved staying in Charlotte’s home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The online description and photos are very accurate and everything we needed was provided. The house was very clean and user friendly and the lush, green garden perfect for eating and relaxing. Charlotte is a lovely, warm host always happy to help. She gave us very useful advice on places to visit and local restaurants. We thought the price was very reasonable for the accommodation provided.

Every apartment should come with its own Charlotte, very welcoming even on our late arrival and very knowledgeable with nothing seeming too much trouble. The apartment is situated 100mts from a very good supermarket that stays open till 9pm (and does fresh pizza!! to take out) . Well equipped kitchen , spacious bedrooms with fabulous aircon. Very private accommodation even though the owners lived in the front part of the property the pool area and rear patio are all yours for relaxing in and not overlooked at all. All in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

The accommodation is very good, clean and spacious bedrooms with air conditioning, a nice kitchen with everything you need and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. The outside space has an outside kitchen with pizza oven, built in barbeque and sink, with table, chairs and awning and had a lovely view over fields. The pool is clean and wasn't too cold with a tropical feel to the garden with palm trees. There is a hammock to swing in as well, perfect, We have travelled in Italy numerous times stopping in self catering accommodation and this is one of the best ones we have stayed at. The one thing this has got that the others haven't is Charlotte. Nothing was too much trouble we mentioned we liked to walk and she rang the ranger to see where was safe to roam at the moment, she told us about a lovely walk to a nature reserve and beach that we did and a great walk through a valley with limestone cliffs. It really made the holiday. We had a car but walked into town and the Island about a 45 minute walk a few times, but you can get the bus from the archeological park so only a 15 minute walk. We tended to use the barbeque but we did eat out locally there are a few restaurants only 10-15 minutes walk away. The Conrad supermarket we visited everyday as it is only a short walk away and has fresh bread, meat and fish counters. We really enjoyed our stay in Syracuse.

Fantastisch!!
Wat een ontzettend schoon en mooi verblijf! Goede bedden, heerlijke douche, tuin en zwembad fantastisch. ‘s Nachts heerlijk rustig. Charlotte is een heel vriendelijke host, maakt je vakantie onbezorgd. Zonder meer een dikke 10!!

Très bon séjour a Syracuse
Très agréable séjour dans cette location. Nous la recommandons pour son côté fonctionnel, sa localisation a proximité de la vieille ville de Syracuse et des commerces. La piscine est un réel plaisir! Hôtes sympathiques présents dans une partie de la maison mais discrets et disponibles.

We are a dutch family of 4 and stayed with Charlotte in august. We had a realy great time. The garden is amasing and the pool is realy nice and very clean. The house is comfortabel and complete. The house is is a good base for day trips, nice towns, nice and beautifull beaches and to visit the Etna. We highly recorment a stay here.

Belle maison et belle personne.
Merci à Charlotte pour son accueil et son aide . Grande maison, bien équipée. Beaux espaces extérieurs, laissés au bénéfice des locataires. Très bonne communication. Perfekt boende för vår familj!
Denna bostad passade oss utmärkt! Mysig trädgård och uteplats. Pool som uppskattades framförallt av barnen. Charlotte är en mycket trevlig och hjälpsam värd. Närheten till en välsorterad mataffär utnyttjades flitigt av oss. Bra utgångsläge för både längre utflykter och besök inne i Syrakusa. Vi återvänder gärna hit!

Ein Oase der Freude
Was kann man über Charlottes Unterkunft sagen, außer dass sie einen ganz besonderen Ort ihr Zuhause nennen kann und man als Draufgabe eine Unterkunftgeberin die mit ihrer Herzlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit einen den Urlaub zum wahren Erlebnis macht. Wir haben das Gefühl eine Freundin dazugewonnen zu haben und wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Also in Summe kann ich nur sagen: Charlottes Zuhause ist ein Paradebeispiel für die Italienische Gastfreundschaft!

Charlotte et Sebastiano sont charmants, accueillants et discrets. La location est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. La piscine très propre s'est révélée très agreable et indispensable alors que la température atteignait 40 degrés! Le petit jardin est maginifique! Le coin barbecue très bien entretenu nous a permis de cuisiner tranquillement des saucisses bien grillées. La location est très propre, bien équipée en particulier avec la climatisation elle aussi indispensable. Elle est très bien située pour se rendre au centre de Syracuse ou pour naviguer dans la région. Merci encore à Charlotte et Sebastiano A bientôt!

Hallo Charlotte, wir haben uns in Deinem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt bei Dir sehr genossen. Besonders der Pool hat uns sehr gut gefallen, und die schöne Terrasse nach hinten heraus. Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool, Grill und Garten
Wir würden sehr nett begrüßt mit bereits bereit gestellten und gekühlten Getränken. Wir waren leider viel zu kurz in der schönen Villa bei Charlotte. Unsere Kinder fanden den Außenbereich mit Granatapfel-, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen super. Den sehr sauberen Pool mussten sie trotz des nicht so warmen Wetters dennoch testen. Ausstattung in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Urlaub mit Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Syrakus und seine Umgebung ist sauberer als andere Städte in Sizilien, das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Charlotte hat uns mit vielen Tipps versorgt was man alles unternehmen kann. Wir waren in der Altstadt von Syrakus und im nahen Naturschutzgebiet um Flamingos zu beobachten, ebenso in den alten Fischerdorf Marzanemi. Leider war unsere Zeit viel zu kurz um noch weitere Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Der Check-in und Out war super unproblematisch und die Kommunikation super. In 100m Entfernung gibt es einen Supermarkt mit frischen Brötchen Wurst, Käse, etc. alles was man benötigt. Ebenso in die andere Richtung 500m entfernt ist eine Pizzeria, wo es uns sehr gut geschmeckt hat, die Bedienung war sehr nett und man auch Pizza mitnehmen und zuhaus essen. Die Lage war super, da es etwas außerhalb lag, aber dennoch trotz an der Straße liegend relativ ruhig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und können es absolut empfehlen.

Great appartment and a good pool
Our host Charlotte was very welcoming and we felt very welcom when we arrived. Good size appartment with all you need, two bedrooms with AC and a nice outdoor area, and the pool was super fun! The only thing we could think of that would make the place complete was Mar shading on the outdoor space, it gets super hot! We felt like we had the whole place to our self. There home feels safe with high fences and a gate. There is a good supermarket just a few minutes walk. There isn't much else going on just outside the hose, so you need a car to get around. The hos has good tips and hints for the area around Siracusa.
