A very basic hotel.

The hotel was conveniemtly located in Siracusa. The room service was excellent. But the bed pillow, however, was very flat and uncomfortable as well as the bed matress.

Good value for money

This hotel is good value-for-money in a good location. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, equal walking distance to Ortigia island and the archaeological park (20 minutes), and reasonably close to supermarkets and restaurants. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with.

Room and bath were clean, but they smelled of heavy smoking activity. Too cold to keep balcony door open to air out room. No warm or hot water for shower on last day. Breakfast was sparse by all Sicilian hotel and B@B standards. Just a croissant and a coffee of choice. Both were good, however. Shower glass enclosure leaked which is a problem in many places in Sicily. Housekeeping was great. Very quiet location. Location is great for walks to Old Siracusa and the island. Beds very comfortable. Lighting good. WIFI, heat and AC great and work well. All in all, a mixed bag.

Uncomfortable bed, very loud refrigerator in the room, annoying during night. We were told breakfast was from 7.30 to 10h. We came downstairs little after 7.30 (we were in a hurry to catch a flight), but there was nobody there and no breakfast set up. We left around 7.45 and the woman just started setting everything up... so we left without breakfast. Very unprofessional! Good location, not far from the old city center. Free parking in the street. Room was clean, but not big.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. It’s cheap, so it won’t be a 5 star place. I had a room on the second/top floor. Bit old but clean, although non smoking you could smell that in the past it had been a smoking room. Annoyingly, qifi never worked in my room once when I was there. Breakfast is basic. I parked in front of the hotel, on the street without issue. Location is in walking distance of the old part of town, travelled as a woman alone and felt safe.

Two steps away from Ortigia (8 minutes only)

There was a light smell of smoke from previous guests probably. The hot water in the shower is reversed. A part from that, everything has been nice, the deal I got was cheap and the location was wonderful

Great staff, so-so location.

Easy to find parking. Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. On foot, you are about 20 min from bars/restaurants in Ortigia and 10 min from ruins. But you're outside the main area and there's really nothing around. (The proof is in the pudding when you need to shell out 2E for a beer.) But again, the staff was terrific. Place was clean. Moderate shower.

Ótimo!

Chegamos pela manhã, antes do horário do check in, e fomos muito bem recebidos. A moça e o rapaz foram muito prestativos, falavam italiano e inglês bem o suficiente para que houvesse compreensão. O quarto não estava pronto ainda, mas arrumaram depois para nós. É fácil de chegar ao parque e a ilha de Ortigia, mas pra chegar nele é necessário um mapa. Hoje outra moça nos ofereceu café da manhã, mesno não estando na reserva.
