The House of Apollo - Ortigia Charming Studio

Charming 60-square-meter studio apartment, sleeping 3, located on the first floor of a building (2 steps to enter). The apartment is located in the heart of Ortigia (ZTL), the wonderful historic center of Syracuse, 150 meters from the Temple of Apollo and 450 meters from the Cathedral.

The apartment is laid out as follows:

- LIVING AREA with a sofa bed, dining table, and KITCHENETTE (featuring a 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator with freezer, electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, and various kitchen utensils);

- SLEEPING AREA (separated from the rest of the apartment) with a double bed, closet, and dresser;

- BATHROOM with a raised shower stall, sink, bidet, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heat pump (split system in the living area), mosquito screens, iron and ironing board, washing machine, clothesline, and hair dryer.



The entire apartment is for the exclusive use of guests during their stay, and there are no shared spaces with the host or other tenants.



7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the information to the “Alloggiati Web” police service, which is the Italian procedure for registering guests staying in Italy.

. Turning the air conditioning and heating on and off is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013, and Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Esummer: the average air temperature must not fall below 26°C for all types of buildings.

In winter: the weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The period during which heating may be used and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



Check-in will be via online self-check-in; completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to retrieve your keys and gain access to the apartment.

Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.

In case of problems, telephone assistance will be available until 10:00 PM.



If you’d prefer to have a member of our staff deliver the keys to the apartment, this is possible upon request for an additional fee as follows:

- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;

- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.



The apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful island of Ortigia, just a short walk from the extraordinary Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily.

Strolling through the island’s streets, you can admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other monuments such as Maniace Castle, the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Spring, and the Fountain of Diana. In the summer, you can swim off the rocks or at some of the small beaches and sunbathing areas along the waterfront.
