"Stayed 7 nights in April with our son, 7 yo. It’s a ski in and ski out resort. There is a place behind hotel to rent skis if you need and you can get your ski pass online from ski star website which you can reuse in other resorts in Norway and Sweden. It’s such a relaxing place, we slept with windows open it was so quiet. The air was fresh and we also drank the tap water which is recommended. Hotel has plenty for kids: pool, fake surfing wave, bowling, kids play room, pool tables, ice hockey tables and arcade games. We had a car so went to Sweden for a day. The restsraunts are great lots of choice and you never need to be in a line. You can pre book on ski star website. Also there are restaurants on the pistes and they are as delicious and authentic. There is also a shop in the hotel if you forgot any snow gear. Pistes are great, something for everyone. We will be back !!! Thank you Trysil. "
"Modern, secure, and very convenient for ski groups. The room was not entirely clean when we arrived, nor was cleaning service offered during our stay. There are no receptionists on site."
"We stayed in cabin 17 - 2 bedroom chalet. It was just perfect, the cabin was modern, warm and super clean. Bed was really comfortable, bathroom with underfloor heating and a great shower. Kitchen with all the mid cons and things you would need to cook a meal. But the best of all is the beautiful view of the mountain and the river, it was so peaceful and serene. 10min to ski field. Highly recommend!"
"We had a great 1 week stay for skiing.Living area and bathroom are very nice. Ski/snowboard storage cupboard just outside the property. Kitchen is well stocked. About a 8 min walk to the T2 chair lift for skiing. 2 min walk to the supermarket. There is underground car parking near the property which was very handy. This was not made clear in the booking instructions and wasn’t very clear to find you need to follow the road round and it’s the second set of underground car parking not the first. We couldn’t get through to the host on arrival but the keys were left in a lockbox so we’re able to check in.Bedrooms could do with updating. 1 bunk bed was held together with duct tape and the mattresses and duvets could do with an upgrade."
"We chose this property as we hoped for a feeling of the real Norwegian life rather than a purpose built place in the main resort. It didn't disappoint. Our teenage son loved the fact that he had his own separate cabin to sleep in too without being disturbed by his little brothers."
