"Helpful staff, easy communication regarding transport and arrival time, great that each room has a laundry machine. Close to the Cable Car and easy walk to harbour restaurants and the Beehive / government sites. On our second stay here in a week, we were upgraded to a suite which was an additional nice comfortable touch. Highly recommended!"

"The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. It had the amenities we were looking for and was within walking distance of the cable car, Te Papa, Cuba street and the Oriental bay areas. In addition, our arrival was delayed until about 10 pm, 2 hours past the time the reception desk is staffed. Within minutes of me informing them by phone that we would be late they sent me the information for late check-in which was a very easy process and did not delay us reaching our room."

"Fair sized room right on the doorstep for City centre, museums, wharfs. Washing machine in Queen suite, and a bigger machine available if required. Spotless. Parking available if booked everyone very friendly. Wifi worked for us no problems. Upgrading air con so will be even more comfortable. "

"Room had no windows, it should have been in the description when booking the room. When it says it has blackout curtains you would also assume it had a window. Super disappointed"

"Good central position, nice and quiet rooms, comfortable bed just let down slightly by the staff. We hung both towels up for reuse but they took them anyway and only left one, asked early evening for a second towel but it didn’t turn up until the next morning. Breakfast was nice they don’t clear used plates etc away until your table is covered, not what I’d expect from a 5star hotel. "

"Good downtown location. Used the pool and hot tub both of which were nice. Our Ferry out the next day was 3.5 hours late so they let us leave our car in the parking garage (we had valet parking the previous day) all the next day at no additional cost. Cooked in the kitchenette but the dinner menu looked good. The washer/dryer did not work well so beware."

"One night stay. Very conveniently situated for the Bluebridge Ferry terminal. Having checked in and used the lift to our room we found we'd been allocated a room type that differed to the one we'd booked and paid forin advance. Reception was surprised that I wasn't happy with one double bed, even though I'd booked a room with two double beds. I had to insist on being moved."

"No Ocean view. Although the heater adjustment didn't work we were warm enough for a comfortable sleep."
