"The actual place was nice. The check in process was challenging. We had to download an app and put in our passport information, etc. we didn’t have good internet service so it was very difficult. It would be nice if they provided more than one washcloth and if they provided shower soaps. The toilet was situated very strange. It was very quiet and clean. We were alone in the whole building. "

"We booked this accommodation relying on the filters from VRBO which indicated this was a two bed property with private pool. In fact this is a house split into 3 appartments so we had 7 adults and 3 children sharing the space. Our apartment had one bedroom. We felt very crowded, especially as we had no separation from each other in our flat. Our 16 and 10 year old were sleeping in the living area. "I have never been to a more beautiful boutique hotel. I was genuinely sad to leave. I took pictures of everything, all the fine design details, gorgeous, decorations, beautiful tiling. If you have a love of beautiful spaces, stay here. It smelled so herbal. The gardens were lovely. And you are in a central location for all things Tihany."

"We really enjoyed our time at this property, thank you. I think there is great value overall. The balcony was really relaxing and our room was spacious. The grounds are really well kept and there are lots of seating and room for guests to enjoy. We really appreciated the small bathtub put in our room for our baby. Very nice attention to detail. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and it’s a nice touch to not only try wines from the area but also to mingle with others. If I’m being honest, my husband and I felt the food is overpriced. We had lunch once and dinner once for two which totaled over $220 with no alcohol (the dinner price is fixed and lunch consisted of chicken tenders, a sandwich and fries). Dinner is a buffet and à la carte combo. I may be the minority here but the buffet food and aspect cheapened the costly dinner experience as we felt the à la carte part was the tastiest and freshest. Would’ve rather had the ordering menu and had a glass of wine included in the price. The cost of the food and the cost of the room was just a bit odd to us."

"Family with one teenager, from the UK. We were super impressed with this hotel. We don't speak Hungarian, but we were made so welcome, particularly by the reception staff, who responded to requests for kettles, an iron, and numerous other things. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of sunbeds and the variety of food at breakfast and dinner. It was such a relaxing stay — we absolutely loved it!"

"Great overnight stop whilst driving to Budapest. Whilst the hotel looked dated, it held up in terms of facilities, location (right in the middle of the main square), and to top it up - pet friendly. Parking, whilst paid, was right next to the hotel which made it easier, and the fact that it was a covered parking added to the pros of the hotel given the very warm weather and travelling with a dog. Great overall !"
