The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. From afternoon to midnight there are pastries and beverages for free in the lounge."

"Staff were amazing, and the history of the property! Gardens! Driveway! Incredibly kept well with so much effort that the gardeners, and supporting staff take to make this historic property open to us!"

"The staff were great. They helped us find a parking spot, told us how to get around, mixed some great Negronis for our night cap, fabulous breakfast and an explained how to navigate out of this beautiful town. The room and bed made for a much needed rest on our road trip through Portugal."

"Absolutely beautiful! Words cannot describe the opulence of this place. Rooms were clean, comfortable, but a bit dated (the blow dryer????) don’t pass up the opportunity to stay here. It’s a PALACE! Literally. The details in the decor, the grounds, the staff were amazing. Cannot say enough about this place. If you have the chance to stay, even for one night, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed. "
