This home was built in the early 1950s , on a hill overlooking Puget Sound. The Browns Point Light House Beach is a short walk. This property was recently stylishly remodeled and upgraded, at same time keeping its older original charm.

With an incredible view of water, islands, and mountains from most rooms, it is set in a quiet ,lush and mature treed yard usually with seasonal color.

Relax, and enjoy a bottle of fine wine, or a cup of famous Seattle coffee, and relax in this stunning and private setting with Olympic mountain and Puget Sound views. Most of the year, this home has colorful ,well groomed and tended grounds. It is the location for the best NW sunsets! OMG, Sunsets.

( maybe 10 if at least 2 are children)Note: the Master Bedroom & Bathroom is 6 steps up above so your responsible no the main floor which has two bedrooms. A sophisticated home, with hardwood floors and rugs , it exudes a private sense of historic and architectural grandeur from the moment you open the door.

It is also a very bright home, lots of windows with an ever changing water views of sailboats ,and large cargo ships headed out to Asia.,
Enjoy passing clouds coming onto the mainland from the southwest. Ocean Liners quietly glide in/out of Port, and spectacular lingering sunsets to the west.

This Dash/ Browns Point sunset home , on a sunny day , has a Billion dollar view of snow capped mountains and gorgeous sunsets over Puget sound... the perfect backdrop for entertaining, meditating ,and relaxing.

The home is the kind of place you will love to visit all year round - It has portable AC to augment natural air-conditioning off the coastline, with fans for summer and an central heating for winter - and space heaters

Each season has it's charm. Winter is the time to live like a local with a “real” fireplace .

Spring bloom in the yard,, Summer roses, and Autumn is magical with fall color ,and with new snow on the distant peaks until June. Autumn has warm hues from late September until- late October.

Seattle summers are spectacular with just minutes to Tacoma's waterfront district beach front and fabulous restaurants on Ruston Way , or drive north to experience Seattle's downtown Pike Place Market and waterfront. Two prime NW beaches are within walking or biking distance away.. To the east is Federal Way.

Consider a trip up to Mt. Rainier.
In case some days you do not want to go anywhere, you can enjoy the impressive terraced garden decks, which is definitely the hallmark of this property., which creates the desire to remain outside ,relaxing and listening to birds sing .. A magical place surrounded by nature ( eagles and sea birds) and manicured grounds.

Locally.., It is a short walk to the old historical lighthouse and the large waterfront beach park. A small shopping center with a market, bar and grill, dry cleaner, mailbox service and a pizza/Indian restaurant are close. Dash Point State Park is great for picnics, hikes and beach combing.
There's also a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering opening onto the magical terrace ( with BBQ) overlooking the gardens and water views .
The kitchen is jam-packed with all the utensils you could need: dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, , wine glasses... not to mention iron and washing machine in the separate laundry room and hairdryer in the bathroom.

The large master suite upstairs also have stunning views with a large "above the world" deck off of the master bedroom. The bathroom has a huge walk in-open shower.
There are two more bedrooms with one and three-quarter's bathrooms. plus a 1/2 bathroom on the lower level. (basement).
The master bedroom has French doors out to the view expansive upper deck.
This Seattle beachside community is generally cool in summer and mild in winter.

.
Your favorite room will be the Living Room, which boasts of a beautiful old stone fire place, comfortable couches, and large windows that showcase an array of spectacular trees ,rose gardens , birds and sweeping Puget Sound views.
