"It is a quaint cottage in a park-like private setting and we loved the place. Every morning we had breakfast on the deck.The dog Pudge was there to greet us when we arrived and every morning when we opened the kitchen door, she is very friendly and very obedient.We stayed for 34 days as we were 'between houses' and this place was for us just the right tonic to relax after a stressful event of selling our house and finding a new one. Fay and David are very welcoming and friendly.Highly recommended."

"The host was very welcoming and flexible with arrival times. The shed was very spacious, clean and well stocked. The location is idea for access along the coast, winery tours shopping and restaurants and is extremely private and quiet.We would highly recommend this accommodation and will certainly be using it again on our next trip that way. "Simply gorgeous. Very well thought out space. Exceptionally clean. Very warm. Enjoyed the local walks, down by the lake is suitable for pram. A little temporary baby proofing would be required by guests if the baby could crawl- which would be doable without bringing anything extra. Luckily our baby can’t quite crawl. It was all the soul goodness of hiking without carrying baby up a mountain. Hope to stay again. "

"We had a lovely stay at Lake Station. The cottage was cosy, clean, and had everything we (5 adults and 1 labradoodle) needed and more. We enjoyed the wood burner when it was chilly, and bean chairs on the deck when it was sunny. The dog loved bounding around the lawns. Check in was straight-forward, and instructions and communication were clear. Just a short drive to Lake Rotoiti, so convenient for exploring the park. We would happily go back again."
