"This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!"

"Beautiful position but the room lacked the extras that would make it first class. Restaurant staff attentive and friendly meal selection limited but we were off season."

"Looks like the property has recently been refurbished with new flooring, carpet and painted. Looks amazing. Excellent spot for beach outing. The pots and kettle needs replacing. Kettle had calcification in it and looked a bit gross. Stainless steel pots would be a better replacement to existing pots."

"Bathroom vanity leaked water, Mattress well over due for replacement, owners should sleep on it , Toilet seat falling off, no room service or change of towells one day, Parking not that easy."

"Beautiful spot by the river with river walk and kayaks for hire - we stayed in pet friendly cabin with bunks for 5, fridge and good supply of crockery but lots of other camping options including lovely glam tents with private balconies overlooking the river - cool communal dining area with pizza oven and trays of pizza making - staff very helpful and allowed early check-in"

"Great spot, great host that second visit there has always been delightful to stay at so happy to make this a permanent spot for when I need to travel north and spend the night. Neighbouring restaurant was a bit of a let down sadly."
