"Check in was 1 hour 15 late. They keep telling us 15 mins but the room hadn’t started being cleaned at check in. Wasn’t told we needed dinner reservations so we didn’t have dinner there the first night. Many guests had that complaint. The property is beautiful but the staff lied to us and many guests about check in. It would have been better to just tell us the truth. We could have made better use of the time."

"We enjoyed our two day stay, we found jojo pizza a 5 min walk away and they had the best burgers. The hotel had a lovely pool and access to the black sand beach. The roosters did their job but did not bother us, we fell back asleep quickly. The AC unit sounded like an old washing machine so we hope that will get fixed for the next people. All in all we surely will stay here again. The staff was very friendly"

"Il faut absolument savoir que suite à un éboulement de terrain la belle piscine et le bain chaud sont fermés pour une durée indéterminée car une partie de la terrasse est tombée et pour ne pas que la piscine tombe aussi on m'a informé qu'elle avait été vidée (on m'a dit que l'incident est arrivé il y a environ 1 mois) et une grande partie de la belle terrasse extérieure est aussi inaccessible pour des raisons de sécurité. "Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."
