Granlibakken Tahoe

"We booked this trip on a whim looking for a getaway in Tahoe and we couldn't have chosen a better place! Everything was amazing during our stay and felt really cozy like we were at home. At the Granlibakken they have so many things to do. We enjoyed playing pickleball, swimming, and also using their gym. The biggest highlight would be their friendly staff. Joshua was very gracious and helpful when it came to recommending some activities and good food spots around Tahoe! As well as, Adrian & Raul were both very catering to us during our delicious breakfast. Overall, our experience here at the Granlibakken was superb. Perfect for couple looking for a getaway and for families. We'll definitely be back soon!"

"This is a very clean home in a very nice area. The private beach access is close by and the beach / lake is absolutely beautiful. The place is a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. The barbeque is clean and easy to use - we had some amazing meals. All in all this location is exceptional. Tahoe City has tons of shops too - that was a plus! Note: I told the owner about the front door - the keys barely work in either lock and it took a lot of jiggling keys around to make the door open. I hope they fix that, because it was frustrating."

MODERN LOG CABIN-HOT TUB-TAHOE PARK BCH ACCESS

"This was my second summer at Nancy and Brent's Modern Log Cabin in Tahoe Park. Once again we had a fabulous week in Tahoe. The cabin was perfect for my husband and me. My adult daughter joined us for a couple of days and we had plenty of room. The cabin is home away from home, clean and tidy. The kitchen has all the pots/pans/appliances you need to stay in and cook. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with large closets. There's plenty of bath and beach towels and a nice shower with good water pressure. We loved the front patio with comfortable chairs, dining table and hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful despite being just a few blocks from good local restaurants and bars. The location is great as it is near Tahoe City where there are a lot of activities for everyone. A nice benefit is the access to the Tahoe Park beach. It is a private beach on the lake with sports and activities for adults and children. You can also reserve a picnic table with BBQ to prepare and eat a meal at the lake. Hopefully we'll be back."

"Communication with the host was excellent and prompt. This cabin has wonderful 5-star amenities and cleanliness. Parking was adequate for our family, and the location was close to activities we had planned - hiking, frisbee golf, beaches, playgrounds, and shopping. Bedrooms were comfortable and roomy, with plenty of bedding and towels. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, a large refrigerator, and a large gas cook stove. We enjoyed the living areas, kitchen, and spacious outside deck areas. All in all, we had a great time and this cabin met our needs well. We happened to visit during one of the warmest weeks of the summer, and the cabin was quite warm during late afternoon and early evening hours. We were very thankful for all the fans in every room, and the cabin cooled off well during the overnight hours."

"A large and beautiful house! Perfect for large family and friends! Great location near lake with views. The only bummer is the house is a quick walk to the private beach yet you as a renter can’t access the private beach or pools. Overall a great property and value, just wish we had known about the beach and pool access"
