"Nice, clean property. The location was good. Close to many things on the north side of the lake. The lake access shown in the pictures is across the highway. The pool is just a short walk from the condo. There were sufficient kitchen items to cook and eat at the condo. There is a small normal coffee pot. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided. It was quite warm when we visited. There is no AC but a fan is provided so it was not too bad. Check in was easy."

"Fabulous view right on the water.Host was responsive.Quaint little cottage. It should be made clear that the sofa bed does not pull out and there is only one bed. More beach towels would be nice and maybe some updated beach chairs. Hairdryer was barely working; a standard size hairdryer should be the bare minimum. The shower was not draining correctly. The cottage could use a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs.Otherwise fabulous stay."

"This little place is great for a couple. It’s not lakeside it’s on the other side of the road. The best part was the fast response in communication with the host and we were able to check in a little early, which was great. It has a small kitchen, which I was able to make meals in for just the two of us. The bathroom was nice with no problems. TV worked well. The bed was ok just too firm for our liking. Tahoe is cool enough no need for AC. Check out the ice cream down the road and the pizza...

"We enjoyed our spring skiing trip at Palisades with 6 friends while staying in this cozy but expansive mt retreat. Very quiet at night except for a moment of coyotes singing nearby. Very well supplied kitchen, lovely stove/oven. Sharp knives, nice stainless steel pots and pans……etc. Plenty of towels, and very clean!"

"Staff was great, very clean, location is very good. Will come back for sure."

"What went well: Closer to Kings Beach, surrounded by trees, ample car parking space, nice pool, and clubhouse. The kitchen was good. What needs improvement: The property is not up to the mark for the price paid. I have stayed in other places that were even better for 3/4 of the price I paid here. Very congested studio room. 1 bunk bed, and it was suffocating. The couch in the living room was not comfortable at all; it kept moving and caused discomfort. When I entered the house, it was too cold,...

"The host was very responsive. It was a clean, small, and cozy house. The master bedroom is on the top floor, and the stairs are pretty steep, be careful with your shins! The upstairs bedroom is the only bedroom with a TV, besides the TV in the living room. Each room has a fan, which was a nice touch. There are also board games available for some extra entertainment and the hot tub was a great bonus and very nice to relax in. The kitchen was also very nice and well kept."

"Thank you for the stay; I left everything or i try to order and very clean. The location of the Sunset Chalet in Kings Beach is beautiful—the view of the lake beyond the pine trees is spectacular, and waking up to the sound of woodpeckers was truly lovely. The cabin is very cozy, and the fireplace works perfectly. Even I thought that was wood fireplace still works perfectly and looks cute However, there is a very important issue: the listing stated that we would have the entire house to...

"This is a beautiful property and breathtaking setting. Nestled up against the mountain, nature is up close. You can even see the High Camp tram from the property. The building encloses on three sides a beautiful park/courtyard with paved walkways, mature trees, and various seating, outdoor games and recreational features, including a swimming pool and three hot tubs. The Olympics history is also seen and felt. The Tyrolian-style building was built as lodging for the 1960 Olympics athletes, and...

"We had a great time."

"Spacious. Law is nearby."

"We enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive to questions"

"We had a great time. The cabin is cozy, has a great location and good amenities."

"Our family of six (plus our black Labrador) had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vista Azul. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with every amenity we could possibly need, truly making it feel like a home away from home. The views of the lake were breathtaking and made every morning and evening feel special.Communication with the hosts, Tim and Howaida, was exceptional. They were warm, responsive, and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed,...

"Great house. All the amenities, amazing location."

"Very much enjoyed our stay here. Minutes away from King’s Beach. Host was very responsive."
