Great, feel at home, cabin that's 5 minutes to Homewood ski resort. Also our pets were able to enjoy the cabin with us. Thank you Stacey and Stephen. Next time we plan a Tahoe trip will definitely be looking to stay here again.

My friend, pup, and I stayed at this charming cabin over a long weekend. We had a great time! The cabin was clean and cozy. We loved the wood burning fireplace! We also loved that we were walking distance to the local market and restaurants. There’s also lake access close by. This didn’t bother us at all, but the staircase is steep and narrow and the only bathroom was downstairs, which could be an issue if anyone has mobility limitations. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this cabin for a long 4th of July weekend and loved it! It was very comfortable, quiet, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We just wanted to get away from fireworks and have a relaxing long weekend and this fit the bill!!! We cooked all our meals on the gas grill on the back deck and drank our morning coffee out there too. An added bonus was all the channels on the TV! We were pleased to find TCM and watched old movies all weekend! One thing people need to know is there ARE bears in the neighborhood. One came right into the yard and walked past the back deck as I was out there drinking my coffee! That was quite an experience. The only suggestion I would have for the owners is to replace the sofa. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Very cozy classic cabin. Instruction is clear and easy to follow. Located in a very quite neighborhood. Although backyard is not fenced, but the neighbors' are, so our dog never ended up in the neighbors' property XD. Bedrooms on the second floor tend to be warm even at night. Good that there are ceiling fans in both rooms to keep the air flowing. Suggestions: 1. A stock of plastic wraps, zip lock bags would be convenient for guests. 2. The quilts on all three beds need deep cleaning. Not in good shape. Better to remove from beds.

The cabin is a nice location about a mile walking distance from the lake. Our stay was ok, not great. There were a few issues with the cabin. The cabin has issues with plumbing and odors. Water accumulates when you shower and takes a while to drain. The carpeting is old and does not have a pleasant smell. Additionally, the patio barbeque has broken grills and looks like it could use an overhaul. The cabin is small with a narrow stairway to the 2nd floor which is frankly scary in the evening when you have to walk down to the bathroom. On a positive note if the cabin fixed its plumbing issues and did a small renovation it would be nice place to visit. It is located within a 1 mile or so walking distance from the lake. The outside patio is nice and has a cool little hammock you can sleep in for days.

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is cute and cozy. They have it stocked full of a variety of dvd’s which we enjoyed in the evening along with their wood burning stove. When we weren’t watching the dvds we enjoyed watching the fire and watching the snow fall at night out the living room windows. The cabin is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but it was cold and snowy. It may be different in the summer when it’s warmer and more people are outside or have their windows open. We enjoyed skiing at Homewood which was ridiculously close by and easy to get to. We brought our own food, so we were pleased with the well equipped functioning kitchen. The only down side was that some of the pots and pans had either not been well washed after the last use, or had been sitting so long unused that they felt a bit greasy and dusty. But, no big deal, I just washed them before using them, which I would have done anyway. The wifi didn’t work which was good for our son, as he was forced to take a break from his computer, but bad because we couldn’t call or send or receive any messages. In an emergency, we would have been in a bad way. We were truly off the grid. Also some instructions re how the universal remote for the tv and DVD player worked would have been nice as it caused some annoyance and frustration figuring it out by trial and error. Nonetheless, we had a great time. The cabin was great, and we hope to come again sometime.

This cabin was great for our relaxing week in Tahoe and had everything we needed. Full kitchen, grill, washer and dryer was really nice since we were there for a week. While it is a bit older it did make it feel more like an actual cabin which I liked a lot. The patio is nice with the lighting during the evening. One morning we woke up to a momma bear and baby out back so just be cautious of early morning outings. It was a central location as we drove all over the area and around the lake during our stay. If you wake up early be sure to head down to the private dock to catch an amazing sunrise! Communication with the host was a breeze!

The cabin is small and old, but served our purposes fine. It was great to walk to Sugar Pine Park and to the lake for the Tahoe open water swim. I wish I had noticed that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedrooms, as that was a bit inconvenient at night. NOT meant for the elderly for sure!

Had a great time at the cabin. It's cozy and nicely decorated - totally themed out on Tahoe of course. Sugarpine Point state park is only a block away and hiking / cross country skiing opportunities are abundant from there.

Our stay here was with our family of five ages 22 to 75 and it was very cozy and comfortable. Tons of snow outside but driveway had been cleaned out for our two vehicles, wood piled up that kept the wood stove burning every evening added to the great ambiance. One of the Kitchen lights was difficult to locate on left side of refrig but finally noticed small Sind pointing to its location on frig door. The fire starter blocks were not there but we found enough newspaper to get the fire going. I would recommend taking along a small axe to have more kindling available to start the fire. We loved it and had an excellent three nights there. Also, the cabin is well located so no steep hills to worry about impassable icy roads.

The place is cozy, well designed and in a great location. Owner was responsive. helpful and good with communication. Would recommend the place for 4 or less people. It would be a bit cramped with more than 4. We had a great time.

We loved this cabin! The size was very comfortable for 4 adults plus our dog and could definitely accommodate more. The house itself was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies. The back porch and yard was also great, unfortunately we didn’t get to use the space while there though because of the forest fires. The location was great! Easy drive to South Lake Tahoe. Stacy and Stephen, the hosts, were super accommodating when we wanted to extend our trip a day and very responsive. 10/10 recommend! Fingers crossed their home is safe from the Caldor Fire.

This little cottage was perfect for my family of 4 and my mother in law. It had all the amenities. Great space to run around for my kids, washer dryer, fully stocked kitchen, lots of books, dvds, and tv with dvr. The beds were very comfortable and we just loved our stay. There was a back porch to enjoy outside eating. We had family staying in the sugar pine campground and it was less than 10 min walk to their camp site. Such a gem of a cabin. We will be back. Thank you!

A quaint cabin in the Tahoe conifer forest was a nice comfortable spot to hang out. It has a nice floor plan with two upstairs bedrooms. It has a modest porch in front and a good sized deck in the backyard. We arrived during a record heat wave so the ceiling fans in each room were on a lot. We felt comfortable leaving the windows open at night. It needs a little love on the exterior because you can see the effects of the winter snow line.. A good value for the area.

My boyfriend and I had been through a great deal of stress and we needed to get away. From the moment we entered the cabin, we knew we had picked the right place. The decor was charming. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware. My boyfriend loved having a gas stove to cook on. We appreciated the hot chocolate, tea and spices. The mattress was really comfortable. The best part was how quiet it was. After two days, we felt rejuvenated. We will definitely be staying there again. But next time for a longer period.

It’s a cute little cabin to stay with a small family. LOVED that I could bring my fur babies but was a little hard to walk them. The driveway was extremely icy. But the cabin is cozy. The couch isn’t that nice though. The management /owners were very responsive and helpful. The were very detailed.

We had a great time on our trip. Very cute and cozy for a single family! Property is spacious and enough room to play around with little ones and short drive into town. Only down side.. the cleaning could have definitely been a little better. Needs a higher level of the dusting. But overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the cozy cabin for our family snow trip!
