"The hotel is situated in a spectacular location and not withstanding the swimming pool being out of use it is great place to spend time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a long way from anywhere and car hire is essential. The only downside is that dinner menu is not particularly extensive with very few vegetarian options this means in my opinion that the hotel is best suited for short stays which is a shame because the hotel has a lovely ambience."

There are little pests here and there (lizards, millipedes) but it’s a part of living amidst the island’s biodiversity"

The grounds are beautifully kept and the house is in a very peaceful location. They personally met us on arrival, took us to the house, guided us around the property and left us a very generous welcome pack. "We had another nice stay at Apartamentos Verodes. This was our third stay at Apartamentos. It is a very convenient location to see the sights and do the hikes. There are many in this area just a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped. We had some issues with lighting and range/hob, but we are flexible and resourceful and these issues did not impact us. We especially like and enjoy spending time on the rooftop terrace. It has many seating and eating arrangements. The variety of native plants on the terrace is very beautiful. Thank you to the two Andreas and we do hope to see you again."
