Pleasant stay with the nature

The premise of the resort is fantastic and near to nature. The only thing that needs to take note is the mosquitoes that could be somehow annoying.

Landscaped natural setting. Quite rustic and can hear animal calls from the foothill jungle area in the evening. Room amenities are basic and the plumbing leaks and splashed all over when taps are turned on. No housekeeping/ reception after 8 pm on the Sunday we arrived. Cafeteria closed for renovations according to the staff at checkin. If you have your own transport then this is not a problem as the town is just 10 minutes away. Not suitable for people with mobility issues as not wheelchair friendly and many pathways are uneven.

Relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.

Loved the spacious, well kept surroundings with much greenery. Stayed in a room on 1st level. As there's no elevator, those with mobility problem need to request for a room on ground floor. My room was clean, aircon cold enough but wish there was a mini fridge provided. Bathroom very spacious but have to be very careful when wet. Friendly, smiley staff from all levels made it a memorable stay. Also, the cost per room is value for money.

Nature Lovers Best choice

Very polite and helpful staff, help on the problem of my rental car. Nice detail nature environment setting for guest to relax. Excellent cook and service restaurant. I found the best Fish fillet here. Will stay here again for my next visit.

Dissapointed as no lift service. No courtesy to provide umbrella as it was heavy rain during check in. Also no service to assist with luggage up to 2nd floor. We had 4 children with us and stairs was challenging for them carrying bags up.

Nice country location just outside town. very quiet during the week but busy at weekends9typical of Malaysia). Poor Wifi (none in guest bedrooms) but staff helped considerably in setting up a Hotspot so we could use our laptop.

Live the nature

We love naturre, this hotel had everything related to it. Out doir pool was just fantastic...can't ask for anything more. I will definately stay there again.

Pleasant Environment

A pleasant area for relaxing and back to nature experience. Hotel staffs were not quite friendly except the front desk crews. The room was slightly dusty at some areas and the air-conditioner was struggle to keep the room cool. Overall, a pleasant experience staying in Sentosa Villa.

Good value but out of town

This hotel is good value for the money as it is clean and room is spacious. It has unusual grounds with a creek, concrete pools with fish and numerous concrete paths. Our room had a large concrete trough like sink and concrete floor for shower area. Simple but utilitarian.

Over-rated hotel with dusty room & bad sleep

Worst hotel experience EVER. Me and my wife had book a standard room for 3D2N (other room type was fully booked). We book for queen bed but we got the 2 single beds. They did not mention it and keep quiet during check-in, we only found out when enter to room. I return to receptionist then only they said no more room, so we have to accept it without choice. The room is quite simple, no wardrobe, no WIFI, TV is too small, no breakfast included and the bathroom door was made from metal which will produce loud sound when close it. You will likely be wake up by loud door slam sound effect in the mid night, many times. The environment surrounding the hotel is overrated, it not that beautiful as it been commented by others especially over the Internet. Lastly which is the worst one, the room is very dusty, we found a lot of dusk on the top of bed headboard which triggered my wife sinus. We decided to leave early as her sinus getting worse so we check out on second day afternoon. I told receptionist the reason we checkout early is because the dusk in the room cause my wife sinus. We not even ask for refund but the receptionist showing suspicious attitude toward me that we could vandalize their room and even send a man to check on us when we drive out from hotel. That really gets me mad, it definitely not worth for the money at all, the almost same amount we spend in other hotel is far much better that this hotel. Spend your money wisely on other much better options in Taiping.

Nice relaxing family getaway

It was our 4th visit to Sentosa Villa, but this time was slightly disappointing though. Cleanliness of the room needs improvement. The room smell offensive as we walked in. The surrounding areas of the resort is well maintained. My kids had a great time playing at their natural stream.

Fair amenities very good location

Overall our stay was fine. The best part of the place was its location. The grounds were well tended and interesting the creek was great. We ate at the cafe and it was ok. Our room had a reasonably comfortable bed but I would describe it as spartan. The fan remote had no battery and the fan was only able to be on full force. Not good. The reception staff were not welcoming when we arrived. Language was an issue and I found it all a bit annoying. Price, not worth that money. We were in a family room RM400.
