"Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience."

"Beds are super hard was unable to sleep. Plus I had some sort of alergic reaction to something in the room in this Route Inn and are previous stay at Lake Kagoshima.I dont normally suffer from allergies and I dont have Asthma but as soon as i layed down I got all stuffed up and had issues breathing when trying to sleep. Perhaps its a cleaning product they are using or the contents of the pillows unsure but that has never happened before both places I stayed for 1 night only. it was strange so...

"Decent stay. Staff was very nice. Indoor Osen was pleasant. Rooms had a gorgeous view, but bed was not very comfortable. Good stop for Nakasendo trail, but expensive for what it is in my opinion. "

"The staff is very friendly. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. There is a small refrigerator available; make sure to turn on the dedicated switch to power up the refrigerator. A yutaka is available for use. The hotel has a nice bathhouse! There are washing machines & dryers available on site. The breakfast is amazing- a large selection to choose from. The hotel has a restaurant. The closest restaurant outside the hotel is a Yoshinoya."

"It was within comfortable walking distance from INAKITA station. It was the only available closest hotel when i booked for a last minute trip here a few days before. I found a familiar restaurant, SUKIYA nearby where I had my delicious lunch. "This ryokan was beautiful with a spacious room and great mountain views. The onsen was particularly nice with indoor and outdoor mineral baths, a cold plunge, and a sauna. There was also a private shower in our room if you aren’t interested in the onsen experience. The half board was good but served traditional local Japanese food - great for the adventurous eater but it may not be for everyone. Though I found enough familiar things to feel full at dinner and breakfast. It was a special place, great for relaxation but probably not appropriate for children. We wished we had more days there to soak in the natural surroundings and just relax. "
