"Absolutely the coolest place we have ever stayed! A very inventive and unique treatment on a traditional Japanese house. Cool things everywhere. The host family was very hospitable and ready to help with anything we needed. Very convenient to Otsu and Ishiyama area. We will certainly return here again! Very artistic setting with both modern and traditional Japanese treatments!"

"Wonderful place to stay in Nara, a beautiful traditional Japanese house, quiet, nice neighborhood, about 10-15 minutes walk to shopping and restaurant area, but we don’t mind the walk through the peaceful and beautiful alleys. "

"Great location for Nara main attractions. Easy to find restaurants, next to a market, short walk to Nara Park. The place is new, easy to find and easy to use in general. Few things could be improved. Check in instructions were sent in Japanese only and we needed some codes to access the place so it wasn’t straight forward. Towels were super small and the futon super thin you basically sleep on top of the carpet. We have stayed in plenty of futon and tatami hotels in our trip and this one was...

"The hotel was close to Kintetsu-Nara Station - definitely walkable for anyone. The location of the hotel was on a street that had decent restaurants and a lot of dessert cafes. It was a very centralized location in my opinion. The walk to Nara Park is about 30 minutes. Luggage storage prior to check-in was smooth, no issues. My room was clean and comfortable. The lighting and A/C settings panel was digital, which was easy to use and convenient to control from one location in the room. The wide screen TV was located on the wall in front of the bed which made it very comfortable to watch a movie to wind down at the end of the day. Overall, it was a good first experience at an APA hotel."
