"A very serene and pleasant experience, just steps away from the Kyoto train station. Staff was very responsive, and their traditional breakfast was a nice touch each morning. The welcome tea was also a refreshing surprise. We will definitely stay there again. "

"We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. "The room was spotless, the lamdscaping/ gardens were incredible, the linens were so warm and comfortable and the food (half board and breakfast) was out of this world! So good. Such a privilege to get to stay here. Word of advice, choose the Japanese breakfast over the American breakfast, it's amazing! Thanks for a wondergul stay."
