"What a beautiful location and wonderful hotel."

"Area was quite remote and you need a car to get around Nasu as there is nothing in walking distance, however snacks and drinks were complimentary each day at set hours, mineral outdoor onsen/spar was perfect and staff were amazing. Airconditioning was disappointing as it was preset with the main hotel and could not change temperature only adjust fan. Views were amazing from the restaurant and breakfast bar. Many young children when we stayed as the hotel focuses on kids with indoor and outdoor playground. Overall very nice hotel with amazing staff and great place to base yourself and explore Nasu with a car. "

"We stayed here for 3 nights during October. Our first impression was very positive. we liked the design and spaciousness of the house. We were happy to receive complementary drinks. All the essentials were covered. The instructions were clear and we especially appreciated the guide on how to use the various appliances. Location is near Tobu World Square station. It was easy to walking back and forth. The accessible grocery and drugstore was also great to have and needed for long stays when you have to eat in. While the house was clean for the most part, the chairs would benefit from some deep cleaning to get the stains out. We were disappointed to have not been able fully feel comfortable as far as seating is concerned. The first floor WC window should also be cleaned as there were many insects. With that said, we had a great time overall and would definitely recommend it. We took advantage of the sauna and hot spring which made the whole experience even better. We would definitely be returning and explore other Rakuten stays. "

"Really enjoyed this place, the room was more than sufficient for a family of 4, had all the amenities in it for a longer stay if it was required, not to mention the open air private onsen/bath was perfect after a days walking. There was a lot to see locally all in walking distance, cafes near by, otherwise the train station is close enough to use to get around on. Will definitely look at using this accommodation again if I find myself back in Japan around Nikko!"

"This retreat in the village was tranquil and restorative. The traditional japanese room with private onsen bath was the perfect complement to arriving from Tokyo and restorative after a day of rafting and canyooning (shout out to NOAC). The half board option was a great addition. Breakfast and dinner menus were exciting, sophisticated and simoky delicious. The staff are attentive to detail, accomodating and very polite. Thanks for the wonderful stay."
