"The place is difficult to find, after booking they should send an email with a map to get there. The room is basic but clean. Good size room and bathroom. There is a fan but not a/c and during the night it is quite hot. Only cold water. There is a mosquito net but it is too short so mosquitoes get in the sleeping area. Basic breakfast with bread, jam, bananas and tea. They could provide sri Lankan breakfast if requested. It is possible to use a sort of sun bed provided at the first...

"Siamo stati al Sea anemone di Talalla x 4 giorni e siamo stati veramente bene i proprietari sn delle persone squisite,ci hanno fatto sentire di casa e aiutati nelle ns esigenze,il posto è tranquillissimo ed a due passi da una spiaggia lunga 2km a mezza luna incontaminata e i turisti si contano sulle dita di una mano...Grazie di cuore hai proprietari!!!♥️♥️♥️"

"Good parts. Location for beach, size of axcomodation, privacy, quite modern. Bad parts.. paid for breakfast NO BREAKFAST!!! NO WIFI AT ALL!!! NO HOT WATER AT ALL!! Then there was other things that it said the accomodation had but wasnt there...ie desk, slippers, bottled water. Worst of all the accomodation is next door to a temple that has chanting through a loud speaker starting at 05.30am and lasts about 45 minutes. This is repeated at 6pm....very loud."

"I had top floor and the view of Mirissa beach was spectacular! Location is excellent, right across the road from the beach and surrounded by heaps of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent and had plenty of variety, good mix of western and local cuisine. Few minor issues but not enough to lose a full star for this review, perhaps 4.5 stars if you made it this far. Would stay again if i could secure a high floor, room 506 is prime! "

"Randi is the kindest person. I felt like she adopted me. She makes the most delicious breakfasts. The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Make sure to book a room with garden view as those are wonderful. It felt authentic and was a super central location. Close to he beach and all the good restaurants in Mirissa. A steal! There are many common areas that are shared with Jackie’s guest house which is nice. It was six good days!"

Das Frühstück war für sri-lankische Verhältnisse gut und ausreichend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber. "We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again"

"The Moose is such a special place! The host Ashan is a wonderful man. I felt so welcomed and safe and taken care of my whole stay. Room was big, immaculately clean, hot shower. Owner was also always on hand for questions and helped out with taxis etc. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Was sad to leave. "
