"Part of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner. This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it."

"So it turns out this property (Mahoora Tented Safari Camp) is exactly the same as the similarly named 'Big Game Camp'. Don't be fooled by the location on hotels.com map - they are one in the same place. But one costs 9x more than the other one. Yes. 9 times more. "This is an unique place to be! Such lovely people, you feel overwhelmed with kindness and hospitallity! And a chance to go to Willpathu N.P. We were there for 2 nights and will never forget our stay with these lovely people! And they make you tradditional food and snacks... An unique experience!"

"The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. "
