It was really enjoyable although we had air conditioning. Other rooms may not so check. The breakfast was wonderful and so many choices and the people working there were so friendly. Very cool how historic the place is.

This is in the historic town very close to the main square in a traditionalhouse converted to a hotel. Excellent accommodations, not your typical cookie cutter hotel room. Clean comfortable and affordable. Wonderful.

The Merchants House is the perfect location and its history and age adds to the experience of Tallinn Old Town. The breakfast was good with a wide selection. Margarita at reception is delightful. Friendly, helpful and with a wonderful sense of humour she made our week stay for the Song Festival a special one. Next time we hope to bring our daughter :)

Cannot fault a thing

We stayed for two nights in the Courtyard suite for my partner’s 50th and we truly enjoyed our stay. Location is excellent, our suite was both beautiful and comfortable with sauna and bath, breakfast was good with several options and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I very warmly recommend staying at the Merchants House and I have already booked my next stay with them.

This was a really nice stay! Great location, the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything! Bed was clean and comfortable, roomy suite, and the sauna was lovely! Only downside was there was not a shower, the attachment in the bathtub required you to be sitting down, which turned out slightly inconvenient for us.

A very enjoyable stay at the Merchant's House hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a great location just off the main square. I would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in the town centre near shops and restaurants. The reception staff are very lovely and attentive. The only downside has been the bathtub which did not have any curtains and therefore it was inevitable to splash water all around the bathroom which made the floor hazardous.

We wanted to experience staying at an historic property that was still comfortable and this hotel was perfect for that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with them and getting their suggestions for dining and where to walk in the Old Town and beyond. We highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, great location

First, be aware that there is no elevator, and there's about 50 steps to the 3rd floor rooms. Other than that, a modest hotel in a great, quiet location in Tallinn's Old Town. Easy walking to restaurants and sights. One nice thing: they'll cook eggs to order for breakfast, which I enjoyed a lot.

5 Star star, warm and friendly staff. The room was great and the bed just perfect- great sleep. The property is obviously old, however heaps of character and charm. Will I stay again - definitely, only next time down stairs. Location, location - 2 minute walk to the old town square.
