"The hotel is excellent, beautifully decorated we were in the whiskey room. All the staff were friendly. We had lunch there which was lovely. The breakfast selection was also fantastic and tasted grest"

Breakfast was cooked to order and arrived quickly.The leisure suite is a bit tired (jacuzzi was out of action, and looked like it had been for a while) however, this did not detract from the overall relaxed vibe of a charming old hotel. "Very good stay. Location was known to me, so knew the area well, as I’m from the area. As others have said, some areas could do with updating, especially the bathroom downstairs, and the kitchen. Outside rear could do with a tidy up. Kitchen could do with a clean. Comfortable beds. House was lovely and warm. "
